The Brief
Meridian Capital advises family offices and institutional investors on long-term alternative asset strategies. Their previous identity was indistinct — a generic serif wordmark and a navy-and-gold colour scheme shared by dozens of competitors. They wanted to project confidence and intelligence without the usual signals of old finance.

Our Approach
We stripped the identity back to two things: precision and permanence. The wordmark was redrawn with tight optical spacing, anchored by a custom logotype that references cartographic meridian lines — a nod to navigation and to their global reach. The palette moved away from gold entirely: deep charcoal, cool white, and a single restrained accent drawn from topographic map ink. The website was designed around long-form editorial content, positioning the partners as thinkers rather than salespeople.
The Outcome
Meridian Capital reported a measurable increase in inbound enquiry quality within the first quarter following the rebrand — more direct introductions, fewer cold leads. Two of their existing clients commented on the rebrand unprompted, describing the new identity as reflecting the firm they had always worked with. The website’s long-form content now ranks for several high-intent search terms in the alternative investment space.
